What is Monday.com?

Monday.com comes with a 14-day free trial and paid plans according to your business needs. If you have more than 3 team members, a standard plan might suit you better as it gives you more functions that might be useful.

Initially, you will be given a trial account for 7 days for free. After that, you will either have to pay or enjoy the basic plan for free, depending on your choice.

How to create a workspace?

Workspace can be different for different tasks and groups, you can also name the workspace according to your project needs.

Monday.com offers you an option to create multiple workspaces. For this post, I will show you an example of creating one workspace to get you started,

You can start with their readymade templates on creating a template of your own.

Click on workspaces at the left of the dashboard and click on Add Workspace.

Or, select a readymade template of your choice.

Creating a Board

Now, create a board for different projects and select the options that match your goals or write a custom goal. You can also create a folder for the boards, so it’s easier to organize and make it look clutter-free.

You can also share the board with your team members or make it private for your own tracking.

List the number of tasks on the campaign column, add the person responsible for the task and track the status of progress and end of the project. You can also add the date for the completion of any tasks. It’s an easy way to track the progress of any project.

To edit the Group Title click on the text and edit the title and the same goes for the Items. You can also communicate with the team member through the plus (+) sign. Click on the + sign and update or upload the files for records. It also tracks the activity log for easy access.

Adding multiple people is very easy, click on the person tab and add others through email. One can also update the status as progress, stuck, or any other custom names you want to give it. And customize the date and upload the file related to the project if any. You can customize it easily. Monday.com makes project management easy.

Automation with Monday.com

Automation makes working easier. You reduce the load of hundred tasks and save time. Marketing automation helps a lot of time for repetitive tasks for digital managers.

Click on integration on the top right of the board you just created, for automation.

Search for the apps you use regularly. For example, install zoom and slack, and connect them for little tasks. And add them on the board. So when something happens on the app, you are notified of the task assigned. Check the image below for example, how marketing automation works.

Managing CRM

Monday.com also provides CRM templates where you can manage your sales targets, progress, etc in real-time. Go to the template center and type CRM or go to the CRM category, you will be provided with various templates, you can use any of them and start using CRM on the platform itself.
